Some experiments in kuzushi with Liz Rainbow

These are some early experiments in Kuzushi shibari with Liz Rainbow. We were experimenting using only two ropes for upper body structures. The aim was to be able to keep arms closed to the body in a decent way. I usually hate chicken wings ties, but Liz has an amazing shoulder rotation ability and she is hypermobile, so it was possible to have both parts of the arm together and fingers touching the shoulder (it is not so easy, try it!), and i think it looks good (and was fun).

That allowed us to try some substructures for tying fingers, that is something I love. Also was useful to find alternatives to cinching for keeping the tension in the rope layer that goes around the external part of the arms. The result is interesting.

There are also 2 pictures we made tying with one single 7m coconut rope.
