My own covid-19 graph for Canary Islands (with active cases).

Since the start of the pandemic i have been following the news, the scientific publications and the graphs, and i found a disturbing trend in most of them. Most of the information you can check talks aboiut total cases, not active cases. And i want to see how the virus is doing. I dont care about a graph that can only grow. I want to see how many active cases, how many infected people are in my area. More than yesterday? Less than yesterday?

But for some reason it is very difficult to find these kind of graphs. I wont go into the reasons of it. I can understand why.

So i took the official data, made a scraper that gets that data every day, and a script that updates a google sheet that is connected to datawrapper, that creates a graph every morning.

So here you have the graph INCLUDING the active cases of the Canary Islands. It is the red line. It updates in real time.
