Natasha Nawataneko tied in Hashira

Some weeks ago we spent an incredible week in Berlin with Alexander and Natasha Nawataneko (that just published her book, i will talk about it in the next posts). It was an incredible week full of projects, learning, information, shootings and fun between them, Margout, Saara and me.

One of the projects we did was to go to a really interesting abandoned building with Tajo to make some hashira shootings.

My idea was to do a video and maybe take a couple of pictures. I set up one of the blackmagic cameras and started shooting while Alexander was tying Margout, then Saara and then Natasha. Tajo was taking pictures (and setting up a reflector in a very impressive way, he really knew what he was doing!!) and the ones not being tied were helping as shoe and rope sluts or even lifters.

We learnt so much at Sugiura workshop….

Unfortunately, because i didnt follo my workflow properly (that wont happen ever again) i lost all the footage from thee blackmagic camera. It makes me very sad because it was not only nice videos of hashira, but a lot of super fun and happy moments between all us. Some of them very absurd.

At least i was able to get some pictures from my crappy Lumix camera, so here you have the results of the sessión with Natasha Nawataneko.

Please, do not try to do this kind of tie without the proper knowledge. It is a dangerous tie and can led to serious injuries.
